Akashic Grove Topcoat Finish

All Akashic Grove wood products use Sayerlack Hydroplus Waterborn coatings for wood treatment and protection.  Sayerlack Hydroplus is the most environmental friendly wood finish available to manufactures today. The product results in finishes that cannot be differentiated from those derived from solvent-based products, ensuring a mechanical and chemical resistance level comparable to polyurethane two-pack topcoats.  This topcoat is very durable, commercial grade and will give your Akashic Grove product the enduring lifespan that nature intended.

Akashic Grove Product Leveling

Akashic Grove products all come with threaded levelers that ensure you can achieve a perfectly level surface.  Each leveler has these specifications: 1-1/4" (32mm) Threaded Stem Glide Phenolic Base 5/16" x 18 Thread 1-1/2" (8mm x 18 x 38mm) Long. Phenolic materials, for which the levelers are constructed of, have been widely used for the production of molded products including billiard balls, laboratory countertops and other applications that must endure rigorous lifespans.

Akashic Grove Added Support 

Premium and Large Akashic tables come equipped with reinforced metal ribs on the underside to prevent warping and twisting of table top. These ribs are 'L' shaped angle iron, counter sunk into the top and screwed into place. These low visibility ribs add to the longevity and quality of the product.

Akashic Grove Natural Reinforcement 

To add to the quality, longevity and uniqueness of Akashic table tops, we add aesthetically leasing butterfly inserts at points in the table top where mother nature has engineered natural splits and cracks in the wood. These inserts add to the beauty and longevity of the table top, preventing future splitting from occurring.
