We sometimes find large diameter trees that can yield table tops made of a SINGLE SLAB. While it is more costly to locate such items, when we do, their colors, grains and other unique characteristics are awe-inspiring.

Note: as you can see in the sketch to the right, a log 40” or more in girth can yield up to 6 single slab pieces of beautiful, vertical-grained wood. These pieces are truly one of a kind, formed by the unique circumstances of the tree’s life.

All of our Live-edge Tops are reinforced with 3mm angle-iron ribs on the underside, for stability and to prevent warping.
